Pool Design & Construction
How long does it take to build a custom pool in Houston?
Most custom pool projects take 8-12 weeks from permit approval to completion, depending on the design complexity, weather conditions, and any additional features like outdoor kitchens or water features. We provide a detailed timeline during your consultation.
What types of pools do you build?
We specialize in custom gunite pools, beach entry pools, and freeform designs. Gunite pools offer the ultimate in durability and design flexibility, allowing for virtually any shape, size, or depth configuration.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes, we manage all permits, inspections, and HOA approvals as part of our full-service pool construction. Our team is experienced with Houston-area building codes and requirements.
Can you build a pool in a small backyard?
Absolutely! We design pools for backyards of all sizes. Our team creates custom designs that maximize your space while incorporating features like swim-up seating, plunge pools, or cocktail pools perfect for smaller areas.
Beach Entry & Specialty Pools
What is a beach entry pool?
A beach entry pool (also called zero-entry or walk-in pool) features a gradual slope into the water, mimicking a natural beach. It's perfect for families with children, elderly family members, or anyone who prefers easy pool access.
Are beach entry pools more expensive than traditional pools?
Beach entry pools typically cost more than traditional pools because of the additional materials and specialized construction required. However, many homeowners find the accessibility, aesthetics, and resort-like experience worth the investment.
Can you add a tanning ledge to my pool?
Yes! Tanning ledges (also called sun shelves or Baja shelves) are one of our most popular features. These shallow areas are perfect for lounging, placing chairs, or letting children play safely in just a few inches of water.
Do you build infinity edge pools?
Yes, we design and build infinity edge (vanishing edge) pools. These work especially well on sloped lots or properties with beautiful views, creating a dramatic visual effect where the water appears to extend to the horizon.
Outdoor Living & Add-Ons
Can you build an outdoor kitchen with my pool?
Absolutely! We design complete outdoor living spaces including fully-equipped outdoor kitchens with grills, refrigerators, sinks, and bar seating. We coordinate all elements for a cohesive design.
What water features do you offer?
We offer a wide range of water features including waterfalls, spillways, fountains, deck jets, bubblers, grottos, and fire & water bowls. These features add visual appeal and the soothing sound of flowing water.
Do you build fire pits and fire features?
Yes, we design and install custom fire pits, fire bowls, and fire walls that complement your pool and outdoor living space. Fire-on-water features are especially popular for dramatic evening ambiance.
Can you add automation to control my pool and outdoor features?
Yes! We install smart pool automation systems that let you control your pool equipment, lighting, water features, and heating from your smartphone or tablet. Control everything with the touch of a button.
